Trip to Havana in November

Nov 13, 11:00am - Nov 23, 2:00pm

Cross-Cultural Coalition of South Side Tallahassee, Inc.645 McDonnell Dr.Tallahassee, FL32310 Map

We will go on ONE of these dates. Nov. 13-23? JetBlue is $214 round trip without a checked bag (Southwest is $243 on the same dates, with a stop in FLL, with two free checked bags). We would go under the "support for the Cuban people" category, meaning no government-owned hotels! We will stay with families or family-owned apartments in the Vedado area (near Hotel Nacional and Habana Libre Hotel). The cost paid to CCC for single is $716; double is $466; and kids 12 and under is $366. This includes airport transfers in Havana, a guided city tour on the day of, or day after, we get there, accommodations for 10 nights, and having Lili, Jan & Mike meet the group each morning and evening for activities. Other tours are optional. The 10th Annual Baile en Cuba (Dance in Cuba) Festival will be going on then, from November 11-17 (optional). $150 will hold your spot (refundable)! $75 for kids 12 & under. For Nov. 18-28, it would be $228.63 on Southwest (2 free checked bags) and $249.03 on Jet Blue (no bags). It would be easy for you to return earlier, if you only want a 4-, 5-, 6- or 7-day trip.... Trip to Salvador, Bahia, for Carnival 2020

Feb 20, 11:00am - Feb 27, 2:00pm

Cross-Cultural Coalition of South Side Tallahassee, Inc.645 McDonnell Dr.Tallahassee, FL32310 Map

We will drive to Orlando to take an evening flight on GOL Airlines to Salvador, Bahia (SSA) and arrive the next day. We will stay in the heart of the historic district, known as the Pelourinho, where Brazil's most African-influenced carnival takes place. It is NOTHING like Rio's. The art, food, dance, drums, music and people are amazing and rootsy. Join us.
